DEAD FRAMES SOCIETY
A frame is defined as a structure that supports a system or concept. In the course of art history, frames provided the most intricate buttresses to many cultural and political artworks. The frame embodies the fundamentals of artistic curation. Acting on a set of principles and values, frames function on a delicate procedure of skill and knowledge. However, in the stream of recent events, the values that were once held in high esteem are now not only being questioned, but are also being reinvented. In the course of rapid changes in society and the degradation of values, the art process in a majority deems the frame as "Dead". These frames presented at our online gallery have at times been found covered in dust and their story neglected in an ever changing world. We at Croyds believe they ought to have their place either in a living room, place of business or at a local exhibition. That being said, we have an obligation as ambassadors of anything deep, intelligent, complete and beautiful to reintroduce in the market these "Dead Frames".
