Nathalie Tran is a Montreal-based illustrator and painter who goes by the artist name Sleepy Headz. Painting realities in a dreamlike form, her body of work often touches upon the fantastic adventures of dreams, the fantasy of love and the comfort of loneliness. Interestingly, the unique and eye-catching universes she creates never fail to include a few key compositional elements: fish, plants, houses and water. In this Croyds video interview, Sleepy Headz explains the particular state of mind she's illustrated in her painting "Filling The Void" and discusses her reasons for getting into printmaking.

Carlo Vargas is a Montreal-based artist specialised in intricate black and white illustration and whose creative approach stems from the music industry. His body of work, hand drawn and for the most part substantially dark, explores themes such as madness, sanity, remembrance and despair. In this Croyds video interview, the illustrator reflects on his ten-year break from creation, the main drivers behind his current practice, and his use of symbolism, alchemy and mysticism to create an atmosphere.
