SEAN MUNDY

Words by:  Zoé Bélisle-Springer

Sean Mundy is a born and raised Montreal photographer with a conceptual imagery and digital manipulation approach. He combines "visual vocabulary from iconography, symbolism and the surreal to present moments of dissonance between the individual, separate states of self, and collective systems." His artistic style highlights tension, uncertainty and minimalism through a unique aesthetic. In this episode of the Focus video series, Mundy talks about his creative process, themes that inspire him, evaluates the pros and cons of coming up as an artist on social media and shares a precious piece of advice.
