ANDREW DA SILVA
CROYDS | Online Publication
Words by: Zoé Bélisle-Springer

Andrew Da Silva is a self-taught, born and raised artist from Montreal. He who once drove teachers mad by doodling on school wooden desks, now showcases his art in galleries within group or solo exhibitions. By means of a mature sense of playfulness and satire, Da Silva makes a steady attempt at pushing the boundaries of character design. Along with his appeal for 80's & 90's cartoons, comics and graffiti culture, his ability to invoke his inner child naturally makes way for his compelling pastel  colored characters. In this Eavesdrop episode, get some insight on Andrew Da Silva’s career and standpoint on projecting his art into the world.
